Yanyan Jiang, Zhongying Yuan, Guoqing Zang, Dan Li, Ying Wang, Yi Zhang, Hua Liu, Jianping Cao, Yujuan Shen

Frontiers of Medicine 2018, Volume 12, Issue 1,   Pages 98-103 doi: 10.1007/s11684-018-0614-3

Abstract: cayetanensis is a foodborne and waterborne pathogen that causes endemic and epidemic human diarrheaDuring 2013, a total of 291 stool specimens were collected from patients with diarrhea at a hospitalby molecular technology were all in the adult group (mean age 27.8 years; 2.94%, 5/170) with watery diarrheaThis study showed, for the first time, that C. cayetanensis is a pathogen in outpatientswith diarrhea in Shanghai, albeit at a low level.

Preliminary results of gentamycin combined with sodium bicarbonate for prevention of irinotecan-induced diarrhea

Qi MEI MM, Zhe CAO MM, Hua XIONG MD, Yuan CHEN MD,

Frontiers of Medicine 2009, Volume 3, Issue 4,   Pages 470-474 doi: 10.1007/s11684-009-0077-7

Abstract: clinical effect of gentamycin combined with sodium bicarbonate for the prevention of irinotecan-induced diarrheasodium bicarbonate resulted in significantly higher stool pH ( < 0.001), while the incidence of diarrheaGentamycin combined with sodium bicarbonate appears to be useful in preventing the diarrhea induced by

Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2019, Volume 6, Issue 1,   Pages 66-72 doi: 10.15302/J-FASE-2018229

Abstract:

Porcine viral diarrhea is an acute and highly contagious enteric disease of pigs that causes hugePorcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) and transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV) are the main pathogensresponsible for piglet viral diarrhea. However, currently there is no specific drug available for the effective treatment of viral diarrhea.
